Accreditation Status
We are pleased to
announce that United Rehab Specialists has been awarded accreditation
status by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC)
for the services of Rehabilitation Technology Supplier, Medical Supply
Provider and Home Medical Equipment. By attaining accreditation, we
at United Rehab Specialists have demonstrated our commitment to maintain
a higher level of competency and strive for excellence in our products,
services and customer satisfaction. We are proud to join the select
group of Complex Rehab companies that have been accredited by ACHC.
United Rehab Specialists
opened its Dallas office in May 2005. Our Dallas partners are Will Jiron,
ATS, CRTS and Scott Wallace, ATS. Will & Scott have extensive rehab
experience in the Metroplex. Clint Kendrick, ATS and Misty Homen, RTS
joined our Dallas team in November 2005. Our Dallas team of rehab specialists
and repair techs enjoy an excellent reputation in the Dallas/Ft. Worth
market, have extensive experience, and are highly qualified. They are
committed to provide excellent care and a full range of services for

URS is also
pleased to announce the March 2006 addition of Lynn Springfield, ATS
to our outstanding team of RTS’s. Lynn has been a Rehab Specialists
for 10 years, primarily in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and enjoys
an outstanding reputation. He is widely regarded as one of Texas’
leading experts in augmentative communication and environmental devices.
Lynn will be opening URS’s Austin office in summer of 2006.
URS is also
pleased to announce a tentative agreement with Human Care Lifts to become
the exclusive Texas distributor for Human Care’s Overhead Rail
Lift Systems. URS’s Lift Division is staffed with experts dedicated
solely to performing assessments, designing the systems, determining
the most appropriate acquisition funding, and performing installation
of overhead rail lift systems throughout Texas. URS has installed more
Overhead Rail Lift Systems than any other company in Texas. Human Care
provides the only dual belt lift in the industry, which provides more
flexibility, less invasive installation, and more economical alternatives
